Party’s over

I was born in Pakistan but I grew up mostly overseas.Still, I find myself fascinated by the colors and designs across south asian cultures. I remember as a child seeing homes decorated with festive fabrics for wedding ceremonies and other parties. This piece is inspired by the thought of what it would look like after everyone leaves and the event is over. The stillness and the silence is something I wanted to convey.
